Hello! My name is Amy and I'm obsessed with The Beatles. I figured it was about time I joined a Beatle forum, since I freaking LOVE THE BEATLES SOOOO MUCH!!!! I've loved them forever. They're the best! Sadly, the kids at my school absolutely HATE The Beatles and tease me because I like them. So i figured I should join a forum where EVERYONE shares my INSANE love for them! yay!

Yes, John's my favourite, but Paul is a close second. So's George. And Ringo. LOL I love them ALL! I've always liked John the most, though. But I definitely admire Paul because he was the bassist and I'm a bassist myself.

My best friend's name is Beth, and she's 14, and HER favourite is Paul! creeeepy lol.

I can play Day Tripper too. I don't know All My Loving...that's a nice bass line though.

doesn't it suck that kids are willing to make fun of you just because of the music that you like? Especially The Beatles! They influenced so much music today and kids don't even appreciate them. Kids think they're funny when they walk by me in the hallways and yell out "BEATLES SUCK!!!!" it's just annoying. ah well. i feel bad for them. they don't like The Beatles. poor them. lol. ;D

exactly. There was this one extremely ditzy girl in my homeroom who was talking trash about them one day. She was talking about how their lyrics mean nothing at all. So I asked her to give me an example and she said, "all they ever sing about is surfing!" she had The Beatles mistaken for The Beach Boys. She's never even heard any Beatles music. Just goes to show you how clueless these kids are.

I'm Patty, 23, loooooooove John, and I completely understand where you're coming from with the whole "kids in school" thing because that's how I was when I was in school.

When you get to college, you'll find more Beatles fans, and even if you don't, it's still perfectly all right to love them.
